Reservation and cancellation policies
Reservations
On our website you will find a detailed calendar with all available departure dates. By making full payment, you will secure your place on the trip. For modifications or cancellations, please contact us as soon as possible at Distritosurtravel@gmail.com. Please note that, in accordance with our passenger contract, penalties may apply in case of late cancellations.
Distrito Sur reserves the right to modify or cancel a trip, in whole or in part, due to force majeure or any other circumstance that prevents the normal development of the activity. We will keep you informed of any changes to your itinerary."
Payments and Cancellations
The payment and cancellation conditions for each program are detailed below:
Cancellations:

For cancellations 90 days or more in advance of the program start date, a 100% refund of the total value will be made.

For cancellations between 89 and 45 days before the start of the program, 50% of the total value will be refunded.

No refunds will be made for cancellations less than 44 days in advance or in case of no-show.
Modifications:

Any request for a change in the reservation must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the program start date, and will be subject to a charge of 10% of the total value of the trip.

Promotional Rates: Reservations made with promotional rates may have different cancellation and modification policies.

Park Tickets: Due to the sales policies of the entities that manage the national parks, the value of the tickets is not Refundable under no circumstances.
Distrito Sur Travel does not include travel insurance in the price of its programs. We strongly recommend that all our passengers take out travel insurance that covers medical expenses, loss of luggage, trip cancellation and other eventualities.
Additional information
● The order of activities and some of their characteristics may vary depending on weather conditions.
● Please specify any dietary restrictions or particular diets in detail so that you can enjoy the snacks and meals.
● The quoted price is based on standard single rooms (double or matrimonial beds). Please note that upgrading to larger or more luxurious accommodations may result in additional costs, subject to availability.
● If your trip involves camping, consider a shared tent that will be included on the base price. upgrading to a single tent may result in additional cost and subject to availability.
● in Some of the trips we included Domestic Flight. Luggage Allowance: one checked bag weighing up to 23 kilograms, one carry-on bag, and one personal item.
● We prioritize personalized experiences and sustainable tourism. That's why we keep our groups small, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 people.
● For the pick up and drop off at the airport, you must let us know in advance your flight details.
FERRY
Cabin Options:
● Our ferry offers a variety of cabin types to suit your needs, including Premium Suites, AA Cabins, A Cabins, CC Cabins, CC Bunk Beds, and cabins designed for guests with reduced mobility.
Ferry vs. Cruise:
● Please note that our service is a ferry service, not a cruise. While we offer a unique and
unforgettable journey through Patagonia, we prioritize a more authentic and rugged experience.
Disconnect and Reconnect:
● Given the remote nature of Patagonia, we don't offer internet access on board. This provides a wonderful opportunity to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with nature and your
fellow travelers.
Your Well-being:
● Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a dedicated medical team on board, including a nurse, to provide basic medical care. Additionally, our crew members are trained in both basic and advanced first aid in accordance with ISO standards.
Ferry Esperanza:
● The Esperanza, one of our ferries, can accommodate up to 244 passengers and has ample cargo space. It also features convenient elevators for easy access throughout the ship.
Stay Hydrated:
● To keep you hydrated throughout your journey, we provide complimentary water dispensers located conveniently throughout the ship. There's no need to pack extra bottled water.
